A university doctoral student has taken his own life by jumping off a campus parking garage in front of horrified classmates. Jose Bruno Del Rio-Malewski, 33, died last Wednesday morning at the Bauerle Garage at the University of Texas, San Antonio. Del Rio-Malewski was studying a PhD in biology at the UTSA Hutchinson Lab, working on a thesis on amphibians. 'He is passionate for animals and is a caretaker for two bearded dragons and three axolotls,' his student profile read.
