They may have had every intention of 'healing the world' - but the original members of Band Aid were undoubtedly plagued by personal tragedies of their own. Yesterday, it was announced a new version of Do They Know It's Christmas? will be released next week to celebrate the charity single's 40th anniversary. Over the years, the iconic track - written by Sir Bob Geldof and Midge Ure - has been recorded on three separate occasions, most recently in 2014 with Ed Sheeran, One Direction and Zoella.
