The California mom who left her three-year-old daughter to die in a hot car was 'drunk' and 'passed out' in the driver's seat, it was revealed on Tuesday as the child's grieving father came to the mom's defense. Sandra Hernandez was arrested for involuntary manslaughter and child neglect after falling asleep while locked inside a Ford Expedition amid sweltering heat on Friday afternoon. Her young daughter, Ily Ruiz, was in the backseat.
