SNL's cold open had a surprise visitor this week: Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley.
The sketch riffed on Donald Trump's South Carolina Town Hall with James Austin Johnson reprising his impression of the former president and present presidential candidate. At the tail finish, Haley (posed as a South Carolina voter) stood up and asked, "Why will not you debate Nikki Haley?"
Johnson's Trump replied, "Oh my god, it is her, the lady who was answerable for safety on Jan. 6. It is Nancy Pelosi."
Then this week's Saturday Night time Reside host Ayo Edebiri requested Haley a query: "What would you say was the primary reason for the Civil Conflict and do you assume it starts with an 's' and ends with a 'lavery'?"
