Fans divided over Clueless sequel TV series that brings back Alicia Silverstone as Cher
Fans have been left divided over the announcement of a Clueless television series at Peacock - with Alicia Silverstone set to reprise her iconic role of Cher Horowitz. The original 1995 movie, which is loosely based on Jane Austen's novel Emma, also starred Paul Rudd, late Brittany Murphy, Stacey Dash, Breckin Meyer and Donald Faison. Silverstone, 48, is not only stepping back into the shoes of Cher, but is also one of the executive producers on the upcoming project, per The Guardian.
